Why is the blog called Little Tin Bird?
When my son was a toddler, he once pointed at a plane high in the sky and asked me if it was a bird. I jokingly said it was a little tin bird. On our next flight while waiting at the airport, I pointed to our airplane that was disembarking, and said it was our little tin bird getting ready to take us to magical places. And the name has stuck ever since, flying us to many magical places and adventures as a family.
